About
Nina was born in London and grew up in the English countryside, just outside of Bath, where her passion for design and aesthetics took root in her love and appreciation of Georgian architecture.
As a former lawyer and polyglot, Nina has been fortunate enough to have lived and worked in many countries, immersing herself in different cultures and languages including Buenos Aires, Madrid, Russia, London, Bermuda and Boston. Nina brings a little piece of these special places into her overall design aesthetic, with a strong European influence.
NSI projects vary considerably in size and scale; from positioning of foundation footings at the start of new builds, all the way through to final styling of each room. NSI has projects throughout New England, in New York City, Florida and Overseas.
NSI has been awarded "Best of Houzz Service" for each year from 2016 to 2025. Nina was selected to participate in the Design Services Team at the Boston Design Center for both 2019 and 2018. Multiple NSI projects have been published in Martha Stewart, New England Home, New England Living, Boston Home, Aspire Design and Home and The Boston Globe.
In 2024 the Green project kitchen was selected as a top 10 Kitchen in New England in the national Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove 2022-2023 Kitchen Design Contest (“KDC”). In 2026 the Fieldstone project was selected from the top 10 Kitchens in New England as a Finalist 2024-2025 (the New England winner for the Traditional Kitchen category) and goes through to the global round in October 2026.
Nina lives in Westwood, Massachusetts, with her husband, two boys and two dogs.
